Well rogersmus, this may cause some negative responses, but i have my pc screen, and two tv screens and i use plain old BABY WIPES(HUGGIES!)For me these work a treat, leaving no smears after drying with a soft cloth or duster.I use the same for cleaning C.D. discs and also P.S 1/2 discs-my mate slates me time after time for doing this,he thinks nothing of spending £30 or so on a 50ml bottle of brand name stuff...which does the same job--a crystal clear screen!!Like the post about the abrasives and the acid, lol!!

OK plain water is all you use on a plasma or LCD screen if you go to any supermarket they sell window cleaning dusters that just use water to clean with.
I use it on my Computer and TVs around the house and when it gets dirty stick it in the washing machine and use again!
Just try that first really cheap and always there to keep your set looking good!

I've cleaned a screen by spraying a small amount of glass cleaner onto a cloth and then wiping the screen. Try a small area first.

Plasma screens are usually glass fronted so a basic glass cleaner should do it.

use sand paper, then follow that with some strong acid of some kind, maybe battery acid, leave the acid on it for a few day and then wipe it off with a nice soft dry cloth.
