Why do many religious people call others sinners because of their lifestyle, behaviours, or sexuality?Shouldn't they be more concerned with their own sins? And why is "sin" the most favorite word for most religious people?Shouldn't it be love?

(Note) I know people are going to say "well if they are hurting themselves then it is our duty to tell them" or something like that. But this is about stuff that neither has anything to do with hurting themselves or anyone else.So why make it an issue? Are these religious people such great sinners that they have to ignore their sins and point the finger at people because they are happy doing something that they(the religious people) don't like?

Historically, Christians hate and kill non-believers, or anyone who is different. That is what Christians have done. No one can deny that.

All of humanity are sinners and any who say they're not are lying, and, therefore, sinning. As for religious People pointing the finger at others but ignoring their ownThe Bible says that is wrong, Just have a look what it says in Luke6:42 about that very thing you might find it very interesting, seems your point is verified valid!

The bare facts are, we are all sinners. You, me, the raving homosexual down the street, and the sweet old lady next door. We have all done things that are selfish, loveless, and just plain wrong. We have all lied, stolen, hated, jealously desired things that belong to someone else, and comitted adultery or fornication in our hearts. We are all in the same boat. And just like it only takes one tiny seed to make a tree (which produces more seeds), it only takes one sin to produce death. (Praise God for His love and generosity through Jesus, who payed that death penalty for us to give life to anyone who turns away from those sins and believes Him!)

There are alot of "religious people" out there who love to make themselves feel better by pointing to everyone not like them and calling them sinners. They even hurl this accusation at other believers, so they can feel all the more supperior. But there are also people who recognize their own sins, have turned to Christ, and now want to point others to Him. When they say "sinner", they do not say it as if they are better than you, but only as a wake up call, as a siren sounding a warning to flee from danger. They are trying to shine a light on the state of every human being (which they are themselves). Sin is very dangerous, even if it doesn't seem so at the time, because God will judge sin (He is a just judge who will enforce His law). Any person who knew this would be fairly cold-hearted if they didn't at least try to warn others.

Please don't confuse the arrogant people who use the word "sinner" to talk down to others, with those who have seen their own sin, and humbled themselves before God, and realize that by themselves the can do nothing, and they cannot save themselves by themselves. They know they are no better than anyone else, but that God in them can make them into more than they could ever be, and not just them, but anyone who submits to Him. Christ will not turn away anyone who comes to Him.

I dont think that ANY one can say the don't sin. Depending on your religion a "SIN" can be any thing from a look at another woman to saying "I cant go today" when you are just to lazy to get out of bed.
I don't think any one has the right to tell or point fingers at any one else but it is the easy way for some people to get society to look at another person when they are doing something wrong

It's a savior complex. They think people are going to Hell (and taking the rest of the world with them in some cases) and they are emotionally compelled to try to save them. Even if it means going as far as physically beating them untill they renounce their sins and accept Jesus 'into their heart'.

A person should be paying attention to their own behavior. Once that is in harmony with the bibles regulations, then it is out of love that a person sounds a warning to others.

Jesus said get the rafter out of your own eye before the splinter of you neighbors. something like that,

Dont worry about them. If you live a good life, God see that. It doesnt matter to hime if you are a Muslim, Jew, Hindu or BUddhist. We are all his children and he loves us equally. The ones that crow the loudest are probably the most unsure, as they spout rhetoric, because of their unsuredness over their own words, thoughts and deeds. Lets them judge who ever they want, and remember you have to respect a PERSON first, before their opinion means anything at all....

Why do you harp on your own sin? It separates you from God period, because you cannot stand the condemnation.. Trouble is the condemnation is not from God but from Satan. Conviction is what God sends to tell us of our sin, not comdemnation.

Indeed. Law imputed sin and death for the hell of it is as suicide-all as it gets. For law imputed sin makes sinners all, none righteous, no, not one. God is one. God & Son are one. We all are one; But not one proselyte, which is twofold(good + evil): more the CHILD of hell than former fools, hypocrites, vipers, and blind guides who sat in Moses' seat: Law.

"We are delivered from the law", in response to "deliver us from evil", is live spelled backward. "We thus judge if one died for all then were all dead". All dead = extinction, not salvation of all.

Nevertheless, try(test drive) both spirits;
see for yourself which one is sufficient.
Do it prior to taking either one globe-all.

I tried both. Here's what I found out:
Law was insufficient, Grace required.
"Grace is sufficient", no Law required.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.
