first and foremost, astrology predates most religions. since we stood upright and began communicating with each other we looked to the stars for answers. and about Christians being against astrology is because they are close-minded and scared of anything that doesn't come out of their fictional little book. if someone wants to look up their horoscope doesn't make them a bad person it just means they are gullible. Jesus was born in the spring so he would have been either an Aries or a Taurus

You are correct astrology and those type of predictions do originate in false religion/ and as you stated from the devil. In the Old Testament is is Gods law that his people abstain from that form of information. Like wise regarding the gospels, the Magi are astrologers, most associated with part of the bible story. But a closer look shows they are not so kind, they are pagans, and they warned King Herod of Jesus Birth. Nothing good came from them!!!!! Most people over look that. Including the (Star) they followed. That brought death to unknown number of small children.

December 25th was adopted as Christ's birthday during Constantine's reign. It was the day of the Sun god's festival (mid-winter fire festival), and religions were 'harmonised' - Christians also began to have their Sabbath on a Sunday, (the Sun god's day) rather than the Saturday of the Jews.
The Bible mentions shepherds in the fields with their flocks at Jesus' birth; would have been too chilly for that in December, so more likely to have been September or Spring.
Does it matter? We've got the Bible to show us what his character was like.

Astrology predates christianity but not true worship. It was common in ancient times but such forms of looking for omens or consulting profesional fortellers of events was condemned in the old testament.Jesus was probably born around october. We know this because of the length of his ministry and when he was baptized ,and when he died.

Isn't it Capricorn for Dec 25, but then saying that he wasn't born then it was just a date that fitted in with Pagan beliefs like a lot of Christian beliefs and practises.
