before i bought my Sedu I went to www.folica.com and read hundreds of reviews. Then based on that, previous experience and price i made my decision. Also, I took into account just because one model had a higher rating than another didn't mean much because it had significantly less reviews and I didn't want to take a chance on a product with few reviews. But don't get the HAI, mine broke in less than a year and when I tried to get a hold of the company they ignored me. Also, CHI breaks pretty easily too but they have better customer service than HAI. Solia is a good one but not as great as Sedu but you may not want to spend the extra cash.

GHD for sure.Wher i liv in Nz its $350 duno the currency diff etc wher evr u liv. Its a gud idea to use hair products to protect ur hair coz its gets to 200degrees (reli fast too its gr8) nd it stays real straight till u wash ur hair. Just depends hw much u actually wnt to spend on a straightnr coz im sure othrs r gud if ur smart enuff nt to waste ur money lyk i do =) bt Rimmington lyk someone sed wen i've used that brand it was useless .. bt thats jst me nd its a heck of alot cheapr.

GHD (Good hair day) hot, you run it down hair split second and it perfectly straight, and doesnt need doing everyday. Better for hair care. They are available on net and good hair stylist shops. They are about £80-90. (They were about £125 few years ago when the first came out) its the best you wont be disapointed.

the best straightener that i purchased is the vidal sassoon one. it was like $10 at walmart and it heats up pretty fast and gets really hot so that that it does straighten. i spent money on a lot of straighteners and i have to say that is the best one yet.
