she needs to shower every day and use soap in her armpits and then deodorant. also clean clothes as they hold smell. obvious to us but some people still need educating. take her under your wing and explain your routine to her. when she comes round spray air fresheners around her.I was in the company of someone really smelly once i found it horrible i just said really loudly what is that smell is it me? no it cant be i showerd this morning. but i dont think it did any good.if its really bad and i couldnt breath i would tell her straight that she needs to wash or i couldnt be around her. its worth remembering that if you can smell it so can she so plenty of hints should make her do something about it. unless shes suffering from depression in which case she still needs telling you could try running her bath when she comes round and offering a pampering session. maybe give her some clean clothes and toiletries to take away and say i expect you to use these.

i think its all about hygiene. maybe your friend has poor hygiene. i recommend Secret Platinum. It really IS strong enough for a man but made for a woman- just like their ads used to claim. Its pretty good. Also, maybe your friend does not shave frequently. Sometimes when there is hair in the underarms it also contributes to the smelly sweat. A shower twice a day will also do the trick. Hope this helps you.

she needs to bath reguarly and usually with BO there is an underlying problem or they are plain dirty, and dont use anti perspirant.
I had a mate who stank all the time! of old fags and she didnt even smoke and BO was quite revolting to the point that sometimes you couldnt be near her at all made you feel sick.
In the end got her deodorant adn told her to use it. she still smells a little odd, but from what i can deduce she wasnt washign and needed to, her hair was always greasy so kinda gave it away. shes not as stinky now though! thank god! hard one though mate, good luck not easy telling someone they stink!

My mom went through this stage, I do not remember smelling her but all of a sudden she was extremely aware of her smell and the only deodorant that helped was Mitchum.
Of course provided that she has self cleaning habits, which I am sure that she does.
You know, sometimes old expired perfumes can give an awful smell, could that be it?
Good Luck!!! That's got to be a hard situation........

The foods you eat can alter the smell of sweat but sounds like she needs to use an anti-perspirent deodorant.

Sweat doesn't usually smell.

The bacteria which live in sweat do smell, but it will take 24 hours for them to reproduce enough to smell bad.

Try to hint to your friend that she needs to shower/bath every day. Maybe she doesn't realise that everyone else does.

If she already showers every day, then she needs to go to the doctor. Maybe there is something else wrong.

maybe her sweat gland is really on the go..maybe you can suggest her to use a deodorant or even a deodorant(soap)...that is really clinically tested to prevent from odorous sweat...Sometimes it depends upon the hygiene of an individual...
Maybe your friend has to take a bath 2 to 3 times a day...and even change her blouse everytime she sweats.....t.c.
