No one, male or female, should be MADE to take care of the kids if they don't want them. But someone has to, and whoever has to do so should be willing to take the full responsibility.

However, kids (traditionally) made with two participants. It's not fair if one leaves the other with all the responsibility without reaching an agreement on it. Whoever ditched the childcare should be legally made to help suppport the children financially.
And there should be heavy punishment for those who don't.

Male OR female.

I believe that the both parents share equal responsibiltiesfor the children. If divorced, I believe that both should support their children financially but equally. Unfortunately, the system isn't always fair. In instances where, the custodial parent is not working or has very limited income and the non-custodial parent is left to soley financially support the child is simply unfair.

When it comes to who should be the pimary caregiver I believe it is the person who is more responisble and the one that can give the kid the kind of life they deserve...and we're not talking just money here. The state should make it more a 50/50 balance because it does take 2 to make a baby. And it's not just men that don't pay...there are alot of money hungry females out there who use that money for themselves and not that kid or who don't pay the dad money...so yeah we should be cracking down more on the other parent.

All parents with conflicts over their children's custody and support should be legally bound to mediate until a consensus agreement is reached. Otherwise, their children suffer and so does society. As long as courts impose judgment favoring one side or another, the opposing part(ies) have not agreed to comply. That is what is wrong with our legal and political system.
