...why do I still get sweetcorn in my poo?

maybe because you did not chew your food well... sometimes stomach acids and enzymes cannot totally breakdown some food we eat.

Yes the stomach acid can destroy cells (within cells DNA is included) and create holes in the stomach called ulcers.

I would say that the enzymes in corn shell are immune to the bacteria in your stomach acid.

apparently corn contains an enzyme that can't be broken down. It's strange....

Could be digestion problem.. make sure you eat lots of fibre.
(vege for example).
