The people who are bothered about their doings in the present world is always worried about the afterlife. Afterlife can be true and at the same time it can be a false thought, because no dead man or woman has came back and said that there is an afterlife at least to me. If our doings are good and fruitful to the living world, then why we should worried about the death and afterlife.
I don't believe in an afterlife, so I don't have to spend my whole life fearing hell, or fearing heaven even more. For whatever the tortures of hell, I think the boredom of heaven would be even worse - by Isaac Asimov

i doubt it. on one has ever came back to tell us. if there was then by now some should have been sent back from the afterlife

yes. human = body + conscious-entity.
body is a tool for conscious-entity for realizing its goal.
conscious-entity's goal through human body is to realize goal of lasting-happiness.
while living, the conscious entity starts thinking of itself as the body, since it gets traces of happiness through bodily sensations. As long as the conscious entity seeks happiness through body - it is not able to achieve its goal of ever-lasting-happiness
conscious entity leaves the body after death.
it gets reborn into another womb. that's afterlife.

I don't think so, but then, I don't believe in the human soul or any purpose or (understandable to our primate brains) point to life.
And it doesn't really matter, does it, the point is that you live this life well. When you die you will either return to the void or play your harp in heaven.

I suggest u cherish wut u own by now..so u won't feel regret..even if u don't have an afterlife..
