Use a program called Power iso to create the disk image but beware a dvd disk is anywhere between 4.7 and 8GB which is alot of hard drive space but if its a cd the it will be a max of 700MB. with power iso you get to choose the format it will create the image in i would suggest an ISO file. once you have created the image, install a program called daemon tools you can get that by searching in google. i have tried quite a few vurtual drives and image makers and found these two to be the programs for the job.

you have to get a program that can make .iso files which are image files. like Alcohol 120% or even Sonic Recording software. They should have options in most burning software to make an image of a cd, which is basically making a copy of the cd to have on your hard drive. If you have the ISO on your HDD then you use the mounting tool, ie Daemon toolz or wat ever you are using, and just upload it on the imaginary cd-rom the mounting prog makes. it's like you added a cd drive to the computer and you put the disk in but it's just an image. if you have any other quest. about this just ask--i do this all the time for games and movies.
