by worshipping the deceased man called Jesus (by the Greeks anyway), the xtians show that they took a monotheistic religion and managed to turn it into a polytheism. They're the first of the "new age" pagan religions - after all, they worship the father (God) which is fine, but then they add the executec heteric who they claim (without any evidence) was god's son (in which case, god should have a wife!!), the holy spook and, in some cases the goddess Mary.

Perhaps they should change the name to J-Wicca.

I think Paul explained this better than I could hope to in 1 Corinthians 15. Might I impose on you to read this before making further comments, I think you will find it illuminating.

1 Corinthians 1:22-24
Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Maybe if you read The Bible, you would see why we are not bonkers and why it's not rubbish! I hope your eyes will open up before it's too late!

How about this, given that all of us are God's creation, that makes us "sons of God". Therefore, since evey human being is a son of God, that makes Jesus a son of God too!

He was both, of course, as we all are.
The 'one and only son of God' doctrine will eventually lose it's grip, it has to! But judging by the responses here, it will not be today, unfortunately.

JESUS WAS JUST A MAN WITH A DIFFERENCE..THE CHOSEN ONE...THE MESSENGER OF GOD...THE PROBLEM IS THAT CLOSED MINDS CAN NOT UNDERSTAND THE DEVINE AND NEED TO INTERPRET WITH KNOWN WORLDLY EXAMPLES...SUCH AS GOD HAVING A FAMILY ..A SON AND A WI FEE..THEN THEY REALIZE NO...GOD CAN NOT HAVE A WIFE...LETS CALL IT SOME HOLY SPIRIT...THE SON THE GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT...SH*T..
JESUS WAS A MESSENGER OF GOD..AND WAS ONE PROMINENT AMONG 1,24,000 MESSENGERS THAT ALMIGHTY HAS SENT ON EARTH STARTING FROM ADAM' ENDING AT MOHAMMAD SWW ...THEY WERE THE CHOSEN ONES AND CAN NOT BE COMPARED TO ORDINARY HUMAN BEINGS...NOR THEY CAN BE ELEVATED TO THE LEVEL OF ALMIGHTY OR HIS FAMILY MEMBER...GOD IS ONLY ONE...WITH JUST NO ONE EVEN NEAR HIM..OR PART OF HIM IN ANY WAY...THIS IS WHAT MOHAMMAD PREACHED ..AND ISLAM CAME INTO BEING..

for it is written: "thou shalt not chat."

let me ask you good sir. have you came to know yahoo as your personal saviour? Repent of your chatting sins. Lest ye smote by the eternal violation notice, that was handed down to us by the yahoo! answers team, from heaven. wah hah hah... j/k. I've gotten 6 of them from anything ranging to "not a question" to bigotry.

relevant to your non-question, can you prove he was just a man? Stop being so needy. You're not a Christian. Neither am I. noone cares. Not even the christians; well, the ones that respect themselves anyway.

he is Gods salvation the answer to the prayers of old. he came to free us from sin. Jesus is God the term son of God in my opinion was simply the closest he could use while on earth. now he is in heaven and back in the heart of God. sorry if that is to deep for you. but whethere we call him the son of God or God is all the same God is our maker and redeamer
