Not all christians pay tithe. Only some. Why? First, because paying tithe is written in Malacai 3:10. Second, because the priests need money to run their organizations. Third, because the priests tell the church-goers that after paying tithe they will be blessed abundantly. Fourth, because the tithe-payers believe so, and they want to become rich, by getting the rewards. There are other reasons.

Sorry, no christian does that unless they want to make a donation by their own will. The 'need' is for some cultist like Jehovah's Witness or other crazy so-called-Christians.

My family has never done that. we used to give 10 bucks every month to our parish but never 10% of the total income. we dont even go to church too much anymore.

because gods evil(i dont see anyone else takin the credit for this place) - im not christian though-just female, and cant seem to keep my two cents in my purse :)- oh and for the gut 2 spaces above me: I DRANK HOLY WATER( & nothin happened)

we still donate but not pay, we just donate the money to support the church.
