Radio station? That's a tough one, it really is... I like 100.3 and 92.5.
Restaurants are tough too, I haven't lived here very long so don't know many, but definitely check out The Creperie. And, obviously, try their crepes. They have other stuff, but their crepes are amazing... I especially like the deep-fried cheese crepe pieces they have as an appetizer... *so* good. My favourite crepes for meals are the Crepe Pacific (salmon and asparagus) and the Crepe Jambalaya (sea food and hot Italian sausage) but they have tons of options, and other meals like steak, duck, lamb, and pasta if you don't want crepes. Not a lot of vegetarian options, though, I don't think. And the best part, of course? The dessert! My fave is the Crepe a la quebecoise, which is a crepe wrapped around ice cream with maple, chocolate, nuts, oreo cookies and whipped cream. Mostly crepe desserts, but they also have creme caramel, fondue, etc. It's fairly expensive (about 17, 18 dollars for a crepe, and 25 for their combos), but so worth it. The atmosphere is really cool too, it's split into a bunch of small rooms, so it's good for romantic evenings as well.
And why, yes, I have been there many many times, thanks for asking. ;)

sonic 102.9 has a fresh feel and play system, nirvana, cake, casanova playboys... 100.3 the bear is also good with some older rock.
the keg, moxies, sawmill, all good eats. moose factory and the hardware grill are better.
the weathers not as bad as the rumors, it's very sexy here... if you don't mind all the brown.
