My sister-in-law and brother-in-law are Mormon and give tithe, however the Church will back them up for any monetary needs they may have, they have seven children, who have been fed by the church many times, they have had there house remodeled by the church in order for them to get the best return when they sold it. So as far as Mormons go (I am Not one) The tithe you give may be given back to you tenfold, they don't require 10% but what you can give without putting yourself in the hole.

None. 10% goes to the people who propogade this command. God doesn't need money. If a being needs money, then it sure isn't god.

Why Brian? They are the people who belive nearly every words of their religious teachers. They are the people who hope to get rewards after paying 10%, in the form of wealth usually. They are the people who want to get rich.

God doesn't want it -- the church does.

Christ said, 'render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's, and render unto God what is God's.'
