I was thinking of putting myself in a situation. ( the guy that has been eyeing me for months and I started liking him) so I have decided now that when he goes past me to work I will smile and wave do you think it will be a positive response he has been looking at me for months very intently! So I think I need to give some sort of signal what would you think if that happened to you (this girl waving and smiling at you)

Walking up to him and asking him out is a bit much for me small steps for now I can't handle more. My best friend wants us to go to the store he works at and look for a shirt for her brother (its a male clothing store Diesel etc) That freaks me out I think he will know as we have been looking at each other and how can he not know if I go in there all of a sudden!

It might work or you could just go up to him and ask him out for coffee or something.

My first real love for a woman lasted 3 years. It started out at a clothing store. I was offered a job, but decided not to take it and as I was leaving I saw this girl and we made eye contact for fraction of a second, but it was long enough for me to know that I was attracted to her.
I took the job because I wanted to be close to her. I didn't work directly with her, so I had to find reasons to go talk to her. I was really shy and was too nervous to just ask her out.
Eventually we just talked at work, then a little after work, then more after work, then I would drive her home, then we had our first kiss and the rest is history.
My advise to you, since your taking baby steps, is to make your self available for small talk. If thing click then small talk will lead into longer talks and so on.
I hope this helps...Good Luck...

U will only be showing him that u have noticed the way he looks at you. He might be shy & thats why he hasn't made a move on his own. He might be waiting for u to make the first move. All u can do is try, if it works great, if not there is always more fish in the sea. take care

If a girl started smiling and waving at me, I would definitely be a little more comfortable approaching her and saying "Hi". I think it will work. Good luck!!!!

I think that you need action more than thinking. Act and you will get him.
