Green tea contains flavonoids which are great for maintaning a healthy heart (so is red wine or grape juice.)

Tea is cheaper than soda if you make it yourself.

Tea contains less sugar than soda and less caffeine too.

Tea is not carbonated, so you won't feel gassy or bloated.

Drink water, and try to drink real tea. Brew it yourself as far as you can and you can't go wrong. Well, the thing about soda is that it contains a great deal of carbon dioxide--it could result in osteoporosis in old age.
