My poochies.?

Question

Can you tell if your dog is happy or not and i dont mean by its tail wagging just by the way they are. I absolutley love my dogs and i treat them so good more or less spoil them -cant help that tho i just love them to bits! I even once said to my partner when i die i would like to come back as a dog kept by an owner like me to see what its like and to see if they like the way i treated them. That sounds a bit weird now that i've written that down! I suppose everyone has a weird question and this looks like its mine.

I don't have one now, but in the past I could tell when I saw the dog waiting in the window for any family member's coming home and always at the right time.

I say look into their eyes, have you ever noticed a dog that is waiting for his owner to come home,.out of a store, etc., and then when that individual walks through the door. It is the same glee you might get whenever a human is happy. What is the saying, "the eyes are the widows to the soul". If you look, you will see it.

Just nice to hear u love ur dogs, so many r abused and neglected , that crime should be punishable by doing to the abusive person exactly what they did to their dogs. Its nice to hear a pleasant story of dogs being loved and spoiled. Bless u.

If a dog is fit and healthy and loved I guess its happy. They are unlikely to have the same views on happiness are we do so its impossible to tell. Happiness to them is probably a full stomach and somewhere warm to sleep.
Oh and by the way I have 3 greyhounds (pets, not racers!) who also get spoilt rotten at times!!! lol

if you want to know how much they love you,
look in their eyes and if they sparkle
alot they love you, if they don't...
