The parents seem completely shocked when they are told about the health risks and it made me cross. You dont need to be an expert!!! especially if it is not a genetical problem. Does anyone else agree?

I haven't seen the commercial but I know that kids now a days are lazy ! its the computer, video game, music video generation...I am only 32 but when I was a kid you couldn't keep me from my skates, jump rope, playing chase and riding my bike all summer, now Kids just want to chill out on the couch and sit in the air conditioner. Parents have to motivate and get their kids moving.

Well, don't be cross. I do agree with you.

BUT, NOt everybody understands the fact that fat kids are subjected to health risks. Many still need to be educated. Many still thinks that their chubby, chunky kids are cute. I feel very sorry for the kids. I hope all parents will be more educated on this matter. It is of utmost importance to their children - for their phyiscal, as well as mental health, as they grow.

I have seen fat children who long to be successfully sporty but just can't do it. IT IS SAD!!!

I agree!
There is absolutely no reason for parents to be ignorant about eating issues in this day and age.
And also, what about childrens behaviour, education etc etc......this country is going/gone to the dogs because of poor parental guidance/attitudes. People should realise having children brings responsibility for bringing them up properly - they are not just a ticket to Government handouts!

Sorry - i got on my high horse there, getting off now :-)

Kids are so unhealthy today. They don't play outside or play sports. They eat unhealthy foods and don't exercise. Parents need to take responsiblity for their child's weight. It makes me so mad.
