I told a man that liked me I just got out of a relationship and needed time to myself. I asked if he was seeing someone special because I would like to call him every once in a while. He said no and told me to call.

A month later, I asked him to go to a 3 day meeting (next week) He is going.

I also called him once a week for 3 weeks. We talk an hour. He never calls so I finally asked if he was just being polite. He said no. He again told me although he has dated, that he wasn't seeing anyone special. He said he got out of a relationship 10 months ago. I said call me.

After 5 days he hadn't called. I left a message letting him know the reason I asked him to the mtg. was I wanted to see him. He called the next day and seemed a little nervous but we talked about the meeting. I said we need to be discreet and said "you know you could call me sometimes". He joked and said okay "sometimes" but he never really answered. The mtg. is in 7 days. What if he doesn't call before then?

Sometimes the answers are so clear that we cannot see them. If he was interested then he would have called. I'm sorry to say, because I know it's not what you would like to read. Guys are pretty simple in the fact that they make it known (somehow) that they are interested in a girl.

You should just move on to another guy. If he shows then he does and you really should get too close to him.

Besides, there are SOO many men in this world, why waste your time on the one that isn't calling you. I know it's hard when you have your feelings invested. I'm guilty of putting my feelings first before my head. But, you need to think clearly now. He's just not calling you and that's the simple truth.

You'll meet a guy that does call you all the time and it will make you feel very special. You'll also meet a guy that calls you all the time and you won't be able to stand him. Life offers so much variety, just be open to new experiences.

Anyway, I hope things do work out for you. Just use your head in this situation and in the future, use your heart after you know a guy is really into you.

Best of luck....

Do you two work together? Maybe he is just nervous of co-workers finding out. As well, maybe you should just try and go out on a date versus calling him and inviting him to a meeting. Don't worry if he doesn't call before the meeting, as you will have 3 days of seeing him and can find out then what is going on.

you seem to be the one making all the moves. l guess he likes you because you definately have to have a lot in common to talk on the phone for an hour but maybe just as a friend and nothing more. or maybe he is still in love with the previous woman and is not yet ready to move on. why don't you try to find out more about that other relationship, it might help.

he sounds like he is not interested in you but when a girl calls a guy the guy will play hard to get that why you call once and if he is interested he will call

i would say hes not that interested ...i mean think about it... if you never called him you would never talk - and obviously that doesn't seem to be a big deal to him. so try not to call him and just see what happens i guess. you should be the one being pursued.

You wanted time to your self .
That congers the image in my head that its not going anywhere so why put in any effort? Most men want some type of assurance that they aint wasting there time
