Hi, I am doing Bachelor of Computer Application course from IGNOU.?

Question

This is a correspondence and by the time i finish BCA i would be around 27 years of age. What should I do to enhance my prospect in the software industry? Will age be a problem. Most of the top IT companies are not recognising correspondence courses, How should i make it in the top MNC IT companies?

In my opinion, you should

(i) start trying for job after finishing of course

(ii) persue MBA by distance learning - may be from IGNOU or SYMBIOSIS. It will increase your academic value and the course being by correspondence will not hamper your job.
