It could be the unconscious fear you have of her dying. Usually dreams aren't about any one person in your dreams.. they're usually about one's self/your emotional state of mind/things that you do not think about consciously and that only emerge when you are unconscious [i.e. sleeping], etc.

It is a fact of life. When people get old, they will die eventually. Dreaming especailly old people of dying shows sign of missing and reminder of caring and more communication while they are still alive.

Dreams r always opposite from real life. So don't take it so seriously. If ur granny is old, try to company her more often ya. B a faithful grandchildren, ur granny b appreciated. =)
