I don't know of any foods but I do these to tone and it does build muscle. I get on all fours like I'm getting ready to crawl, I extend one of my legs completely back, using just the leg and glut to extend it, very controled, and then bring it back to start position. I do this with both legs and I do ten reps of ten (100 per leg). Then again on all fours, keeping my knee bent I lift my leg out to the side (it'll feel like you're a dog and peeing on something). Again all muscle control in the leg and very smooth movement. Again 10 reps of ten (100 per leg). Hope it helps.
