My children and I have always found red to cause "mental confusion"!! When my kids were little they were perfect little folks everywhere I ever brought them - except for one place, and that was the local pizza place with all red decor. They'd be up and around and acting antsy and aggravating each other the whole time we were there. Someone else with children noticed the same thing about her children. It became something we'd laugh about because it was so clear that this place made even the most well behaved, calm, mature, children a little nutty!!

It is said that newborns and small babies respond to bright colors. That may be what you've heard. There is something more noticeable about bright colors, and it is also said that a face on things catches an infants eye as well.

You may want to do a search such as, "the use of primary colors in children's toys" or "baby's need for bright colored objects".

A search such as "children respond better to the color, red" (which I just did) may turn up what you're looking for.

My guess is red for objects - good/ red for walls and curtains - bad

Red is the first color babies see. So its what they're most familiar with. Maybe... I would try doing a Internet search on it and ask your Doctor or teacher etc. Also, I have heard that red makes you hungry. That's why McDonald, Wendy's etc. Use red colors They also use red mulch

Red is the first color infants can see, and I'm sure it has an effect on their minds. Red really stands out for most people.
