Will you help me find my lost cat & her kittens in Sydney Australia?
My pregnant (recently rescued) cat escaped on her way into the vet on the 9 October and has been missing since. On the 11 october she gave birth in a backyard in balmain, the family were not at all co-operative, hang up on me when I call etc and I don't know if she's still there or not. One of her friends even threatened to kill my cats if I kept looking for my cat. I really need help...please let me know if you can help. I am so upset that I can't just go get her & bring her home. Please help me if you can. Please send me a message if you can help or let me know how i can contact you. I miss her...please help!

Unfortunately, I am not in Sydney right now - though I have lived there and have many fond memories.

I have actually followed your story about Taryn since you posted. My suggestion is that you seek help from the authorities like the RSPCA or the cops. Tell them the story. If you have documentation rpoving that the cat in the backyard of those ungracious, heartless people is yours, so much the better. Maybe even get a note from the vet from which the cat escaped from. If yoy have papers (vet's bills, record of shots, etc) these will prove that Taryn is your property and you ahve the RIGHT to retrieve it.

Good luck and my prayers are with you and Taryn. At least, you know where she is.

How did she escape? She must not have been very secure.
Maybe she went back to where she belongs. If not the original owners, who is to say they havent adopted her?

Just looked at your site again.
Having the recorded message on your website is against the law (the person involved can have you charged) and from what is in your cats' blogs you are also breaking the laws in connection to your residence. Do you have a permit for extra cats? You need to be a bit more careful with what you have on your site.

By the way, sending abusive emails is not the way to make friends with someone who could help you provide guaranteed "forever" homes for the street cats. And homes that don't entail the stress of long plane travel that you offer for North American homes.
You seem to be loathe to answer genuine questions in regard to your street cats.

If you got the cat from an animal shelter she should be micro-chipped. Thar way you have certain documented proof that she is yours. But then again if she was pregnant when you rescued her, then perhaps she isn't.
Did you register her? If so you have council records that she is yours.
Go with any documentation you have and go to the police and have the other people charged with theft. Hopefully you called the vet when she escaped so they can prove it as well.

Good luck.

call your local humane society or ASPCA. they know more about animal laws than the police and some times animal cruelty investigators have full police powers. they have your cat and is threatening her and her kittens life, time to call the law!
I don't know if I would be much help, I live in Canada.
Good luck

Contact the RSPCA, the police or someone like that and ask them for help or/and advice.
Good luck!
