eih yeah i think it's true..we are so afraid that we can't find anything like what we have right now..and sometimes we think that we don't deserve another love even if our love right now is constantly hurting us..
Yeah sometimes we lost interest because we know everything about that person and we get bored in the relationship because everything is a routine.. that's why in a relationship we need a little mystery to keep the fire burning...

There are many reasons as to why a person continues with a relationship that is not working:

1) If married. probably because of the children
2) maybe the parents (both sides) depends on them being together.
3) Having committed in some investment together e.g. house, insurance,
4) If children, school and studies, sick or suffering in some other kind of long term illness.
5) being together may result in some sharing of properties or some kind of will drafted in such a way that only by staying in the relationship will benefit them

And of course, they have no avenues or no options in life.

Good luck.

I feel that if the feeling of love is lost and because of the long amount of time spent together, leaving the relationship becomes hard because the 2 persons are too used to each other. But it's wrong to continue staying in the relationship. Anyway, for the benefit of a better happier relationship, it's better to lose the one that has gone dull.

Whats this about stepping into another relationship? Why are people so scared of being alone? If people got to know and like themselves first, they would know what they wanted and get out of a crappy relationship when it was bad. I will never understand why anyone would stay in a bad relationship rather than be single or why they would wait in one until they found another to go to. If you are confident about who you are & what you want, love will come by again sooner or later but until then it's quite ok to not be in a relationship.

I agreed with you. This is human nature coz once they have failed in the first relation, they feared that they may also failed the second one. So they rather stay on to a current relationship where love maybe minimum or lost and let the relationship drag on.

Sometimes.

It can help to make the exit if we look at the totality of the relationship and ask ourselves if we've done everything we can to make it work. If the answer is "yes, I have", then we should get out and not look back.

Trying to change the other or waiting around for a miracle to change her/him just delays the inevitable break. Best to get on with it when it's broken and leave.

I thought the same thing but then I took a risk, threw out the old relationship with the garbage, and now I am overjoyed with whom I am with now!!

You will not fall back into love once you have fallen out!

If the relationship is broken, then you should cut it off. Like a broken leg, you amputate it. You should amputate this relationship cause whats the use?

Unfortinatly, it is true.
Most people dont like change and would rather stay with someone even if they are over them.
