If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.

I have a lot of experience from working in salons that I know about every product out there that can help you with your hair problem. You dob;t need to go to a salon and buy expensive products to help your hair, you can go to WalMart and get a product that will produce the same results for less than half the price. Hair onyl grows so much every month, but to make sure that it is growing that amount you should get a daily vitamin. Taking a vitamin will give your hair the vitamins, minerals and nutrients it will need to grow healthy and strong because a lot of the time the things we need to make us healthy don't come from what we eat. A lot of the time we don't get the proper nutrition from the foods we ingest and so we need a little help. Along with the vitamins when you are washing your hair make sure to really massage your scalp. This brings all the blodd circulating to your scalp which in turn produces your hair to grow and brings essential oils to the scalp that help make hair healthy. When I run low on cash I pick up Suave shampoo and conditioner fromWalMart. they have such a variety now and you can get the same results from the Suave products as you cna get from salon products. I use Matrix Sleek Looks so when I have to I get Suave Sleek. shampoo & conditioner. It has the same ingredients and the bottles even look the same. Make sure that you are getting your hair trimmed, tell the stylist "just the BARE ENDS" every 6 weeks. This will keep the split ends away and help your hair grow healthier. Oh and in addition to the daily vitamin you can also take a vitamin E pill. It is great for hair and nails. When you go to get your hair colored, which I think you just might!, remember that lightening your hair is more damaging than darkening it. Making your hair darker only deposits the color and making it lighter will open up the hair's cuticle and damage it. Store color contains metallic dye which is very harmful to your hair but nowadays the store color is a little gentler and I would recommend Feria by Loreal because it will give you the color you want but also give you a little dimension because it isn't flat color. If you style your hair with any kind of heat, straightener or curling iron, use a thermal spray before placing the heat on your hair. That will help hold your style and save your outer layer of hair from the damage. V05 makes a cream type stuff that comes in a tube and you can buy at any store. Using just a little bit of that and rubbing it really good on your hands then taking it throughout your hair, emphasizing on the ends, will help keep splits and damage at bay. Don't fall into the products like those pills that supposedly make your hair grow 50% faster because they do not work. Nothing can make your hair grow faster than it is able to.

Hair grows about 1/2 inch a month, a little faster in the summer, just eat well and keep your hair trimmed, this way hair will look longer and healthy.

It's been a while since I have had long hair... these days I shave everything above the neck, except for my eyebrows.

But, when I did have my beautiful long hair, the key was to maintain the split ends as much as possible. You'd need to trim them a little from time to time, but there is a theory that hair grows faster once it is cut. I'm not too sure if this is fact or fiction.

Look after it as much as you can, and try to be patient, as nature will take its course.

(Just try not to end up like me!! I'm too lazy, and the clean shaved look saves me minutes every morning, as I don't need to comb my hair!)

No products exists that will make your hair grow faster. The only thing I can think of doing is eating a healthy diet.

Although there are products out there that claim to make your hair grow longer, it isn't true. The only thing that could possibly help is Vitamin E, which would make your hair stronger, therefore keeping it from splitting so easily.

Also, use a conditioner to help keep you from getting split ends... keeps tangles at a minimum, making it easier to comb/brush your hair.

Once a week use mayo (real mayo not Miracle Whip) or olive oil in your hair. Keep it in your hair for about 10 minutes. It will be unbelievably healthy, and that helps your hair grow faster. Sounds gross I know, but it's a cheap alternative that really works.

whew...I'm sure glad you said hair!!

Good nutrition is the key, proteins, good fats, vitamin E, trim the ends slightly every six weeks. Brush your hair 100 strokes each day in order to improve scalp circulation.

Use a light conditioner daily, any one will work. Use a hot oil treatment once a week. Avoid bright sunlight by wearing a hat. Avoid pool water as much as possible.

Efedrin is totally right, I noticed that the user had a thumbs down. If you think he/she is messing with u, DONT. It's the best advice. I use it once a week, got the healthiest hair..... And if it makes yo feel more comfortable, Jenifer Aniston does the same thing.
