first you have to have an idea what kind of car you are desire to buy. truck, suv, sedan, sport car, coupe...etc...then what car brand do you want to get ? and then serch the information about the car online, yahoo auto, msn auto, edmunds.com ...are good place to serch, then print out the price that you found in those site and get them to the local auto place to negoitate the car you love.. good luck
