What I really don't understand is, is that so many people are calling the Israelis terrorists! Why?? God GAVE Israel to the Israelis...He didn't lend it to them!! So why do people want them to leave?? And why are people perceiving the Israelis to be the bad ones??

May God bless Israel
Peace to all!!

P.S. please don't bite my head off for asking a question!!

You definataley have a good question. I believing looking at it as "God" promised this land to Isralites is one way but you can also look at like this: If my family wrote a book a hundreed years back that says the state of Nevada shall belong to the people of my lineage and suddenly everybody in my family shows up and demands the entire state of Nevada because our elders said it was destined to be ours it probably wouldn't fly to well. As it didn't w/ the Palestinians when the population of Israel more than trippled post WW2 causing settlers to push onto Palestinian land. I am in no way a Palestinian sympathizer and have seen firsthand how Palestine benefits from Israel's strength but the situation is similar to the colonists and the Native Americans. I believe the issue is a very complicated thing and not one side is right hence the neverending war.

"God gave Israelis the land" ...yeah right...I wonder if this excuse would have been used if the initial plan for creating Israel would have been successful...the initial location for the state of Israel was Argentina...
Why so many people are calling Israelis terrorists?'Cos in their fight against the so called terrorists there is no difference between the techniques they use and the ones used by those who they are fighting against...

God may have had Moses lead his "Chosen People" to the land of Israel, but he never gave them a promise that they would get to keep it. After the fall of the Temple of Solomon the Israelis became a people on the run. They were taken over by the Roman Empire. The Christian Bible was written in a Rome during a convention held by a pagan ruler in around 220 AD. I believe there was even a prophecy in the Old Testament that the Israelites would lose their homeland (the Bible Thumpers will know, maybe—most of them only know the parts of the Bible that they want to believe in).

The religion of Islam was founded in the 6th century, after Rome fell. They kicked the Jews out of Palestine and took over. They held the land despite 4 Christian Crusades to try and "liberate" the Holy Lands.

At the end of WW2 when the Allies found out what horrors had been visited upon the Jewish people the newly formed UN decided to grant them part of the Holy Lands for their new nation. They were explicitly NOT given the city of Jerusalem and their capital was to be in Tel Aviv (which is why the diplomats still hang out there). Israel took over Jerusalem during one of their many wars against the people who lived in the region. The US and the allies did not interfere, so the Moslem World thinks that the US was responsible for letting Israel conqueror its old homeland.

After WW2 the newly founded nation of Israel was given funding and became an easy customer to dump old weapons on. The US left as many of its weapons as it could in Europe. The entire Belgium Army still relies on American made Thompson Machine Guns left over from WW2 to equip some of its troops. Since Israel was using American made munitions and it was a US ally that made them an excellent customer, and explains why they have such a powerful military. When Egypt and Syria were planning on attacking Israel they jumped first and kicked Egypt’s rear end in the 6-Day War, they then turned around and took down Syria.

If the Middle East hadn’t had all that oil then the Palestinians would still be a neglected, unheard from people who had been kicked out of their ancestral lands, lands which had been in their families for almost 1000 years.

Who actually owns the land is in debate. The Palestinians had the longest claim, and the claim of arms. Their people took the land, and held it for a very long time. The UN (without any say from the Palestinians) granted the lands to the Jews as war reparations from WW2 that was an official and diplomatic solution, but a poor one that consisted of pouring gasoline on a pile of fireworks in the hope that it wouldn’t burn. Personally, I favor a people who can put up with so much and still succeed, I also like an underdog that can defend its homelands against all comes—another words I favor the Nation of Israel, but them I am just an Atheist so I have a non-religious viewpoint.

The key part in your question is “What I really don't understand is, is that so many people are calling the Israelis terrorists!” I don’t know who you are hearing that from, but the Israelis are the ones who are NOT terrorists, they have also gone to the negotiating table to return some of the land to the Palestinian people. The Israelis are the ones trying to make an impossible situation better. The Islamic radicals are the ones who refuse to negotiate; they refuse to even listen to anything that Israel tries to say. Instead they keep attacking and getting their rear-ends handed to them.

It seems that "God" did give the Israelis a limited lease.

It is a lie that has been repeated so many times that in the minds of many it has become their truth.

During World War II the Europeans were saying Jews to (British) "Palestine". Now, the Europeans and many, many others are saying Jews out of "Palestine".

The message is, Jews do not be here, Jews do not be there, do not be at all.

The liberals in here in America are actually saying that the Jews should be moved to Uganda or Madagascar. What they do not understand is that this is the samething that the Nazis were considering before they employed their Final Solution to the Jews.

The United Nations gave a small part of today's Israel to them after the WWII. They took the rest, several times the size of what was given to them, by force from the Palestinians.

Read the history and have a look at a map of Israel from 1948!

or how about the fact that mark twain himself wrote a book about his travels in israel in the late 1800s, "the Innocents Abroad", and described it as an empty, unpopulated wasteland. or how about that the former prime minister of syria admitted in his memoirs that israel did not drive out the palestinians, but that the arab nations TOLD the palestinians to leave, to make israel look bad, and that israel can't really be blamed for it?

i wonder why jordan revoked the citizenship of the palestinians? i wonder why saudi arabia gives all other arabs citizenship, with the exception of the palestinians? i wonder why a palestinian in libya is banned from almost a hundred occupations? i wonder if its because they have an agenda? is it because they want to force the arabs into refugee status to suit their own ends, and make israel look bad?

i wonder why palestinians have an entire industry devoted to faking news reports of israeli aggression: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1oq7oGO_N8.

i wonder why the palestinian authority, instead of teaching its children to hope for peace, trains them in schools to be suicide bombers and murderers, and gives toddlers guns, and why children's television shows boast little girls shouting "i want to be a suicide bomber in a battle dress and kill all the jews and americans!" to the applause and congratulations of her classmates and teachers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6MafdQcATQ (this video takes a few minutes to get going, but once it hits 2:30 or so its freaking creepy)

You're right, God promised that land to Israel, and He doesn't let His promises be broken. What I think is, Satan has also read the end of the bible, and he knows he loses. He's working in non-believer's minds to throw a wrench into God's plan.

because unlike the muslims they don't lie and cheat, nor do they have press agents available to put a nasty spin on anything muslims do. look at thelast war. palestinians were given land by Israel, and what did they do? they murdered and kidnapped people( who haven't been returned, by the way which means they were tortured to death)assuming that Israel would do nothing, them when israel retaliated, they gos all upset, and started putting a spin on the conflict saying that Israel attacked unprovoked. Hell, they even went so far as to put pictures of dead israelis on their websites saying they were muslims killed by Israel. I hope the next tine anything is done to Israel, they nuke the crap out of syria and Palestine
