I think the New Jerusalem is described in Revelation as 1500 miles wide, long, and high. Some think it's a cube. Others think it's a pyramid. I think I remember the pyramid arguement sounding more reasonable as well as exciting.

Jesus says in the KJV Bible that there are many mansions in the Father's house.(John 14:2) The NASB says there are dwelling places. The NIV only gives us a room. I don't dare find out what we get from the 'Message Bible'. Probably a cardboard box down some dark cold alley outside the city.

Heaven is a human explanation for what cannot be explained. How do you describe the color of the sunset to a blind person or the sound of a symphony to the deaf. We have no comparison. No explanation is anywhere close. Words only take you further from the truth of it.

On the first day of heaven it will be said "Go and do all that you ever wished to do when you were living in the shadows of the real."(Fly, Breath Under Water, Explore the Univers, ect). Then it would be said "And when you get tired of that you can come back to God and the real party will begin".

i think we have individual homes created with us and our personality and likes in the plan. I dreamed of my Granny in Heaven. She was painting carousels, dolls, and even a carriage. She said the angels taught her how to do it. I dreamed of my Father's place once. His was like a big fun gas station with pumps, coke freezer, etc. The dream of my uncle was of him making play equipment for the little children to play on in Heaven. All the dreams reflected the person's loves in life.

I don't know but I recently had a very realistic dream where I was fishing with Jesus and Mohammad and it was a perfect day and we all caught our limit. Jesus left and said he was going home to smoke his fish so I guess yeah everyone has their own house. It seemed pretty much like a life of leisure and plenty.

This is heaven:direct face -to-face vision of God as He is---Father ,Son and Spirit;total and perfect union with God,an ecstasy of fulfillment beyond human imagining;the "now" of eternity in which everything is ever, fresh, and present to you;the warm flood of joy in the company Jesus, his Blessed Mother, and all those you have ever known and loved;a total absence of pain, regret, bad memories;no more tears,no more sadness and no more sorrow;the perfect enjoyment of all your powers of mind and(after the resurrection on Judgment Day) of body.

I don't think we'll have individual homes - part of the reason why we have individual homes now is due to our separation from each other and our materialism. We'll probably be more communal once we realize how connected we really are to each other.

Surrounded by friends and family of all my brothers and sisters in the Lord, surrounded by streets of gold, meaning it would be solid incorruptible and eternal. Whatever the Lord thinks it should be like, as long as I am in His presence.
