I got a few calls from 603-971-9876. I missed the call. Tried to call it back serveral times and it either said the number isnt working or all lines are busy. Please try again later.

Could someone tell me what is going on. Is it a telemarketer or what?

I got a call from that number too, in fact, that's how I came across your question here. I believe it is just a telemarketer.

Here is the result of a reverse phone number search.

registered to "Freedom Ring Communications" probably a telemarketer. Why waste time calling back, any one who doesn't leave a message or calls back ain't worth it.

I believe it was either a 'Telemarketer', or someone using a 'spoof' number. There are services available, that can read out any number you want, with any voice you want. (and it's cheap.) But I wouldn't worry about it. Why bother if it only happened once?

I have had many of these calls and wondered what the hell. Now that I have found out more info, it pisses me off that the FCC has not done something about it. This spoofing could be more than just telemarketer s.
