i asked my friend out a year ago and she said no. however we still hangout quite a bit. so my question is what the hell does she want with me? why would she still hang out with me?

Well you said she's your friend, so maybe she really does just want to be friends. If you're just hanging out with her hoping she will change her mind, then maybe you should question yourself and not her.

she considers you a true friend that's all. people need friends that are just that with no romantic or sexual ties someone they can feel safe around and be honest and open to without repercussions, you should feel special that she sees you in this way, and there is a chance that someday feelings will change if this happens you'll have the perfect relationship with a strong foundation, just don't be expecting this to happen, remember "all good things come to those who wait" and on the other hand "you can't fix stupid" have a great day.

Because she likes to hang out with you and considers you a friend. Just because a women hangs out with a man doesnt mean she wants to date him. She probably thinks you are a great guy, and you may make her feel secure. Be glad you have a good friend that is a women, there are advantages.

John i just answered you why don't you want to except the fact she just want to be friends do you need someone to slap the sh*t out of you to wake you up. Move on she does not want you you can ask the question a hundred times and it won't change how she don't feel about you.

When my husband first asked me out I said no, then I regretted it so I asked him out. Maybe shes waiting for you to ask again. Talk to her & tell her how you feel, you do have a point why else is she hanging around you?

It sounds like she is very attracted to you but maybe is in a relationship with another guy? we do that a lot....keep a male friend as a back up just in case our relationships don't work out. Ask her again she may tell you yes!

She likes your friendship or maybe trying to get to know you better. Many good relationships start as friendships first. Do your eyes ever gaze at each others or lock?
