they muslim in singapore are acted as if they are not a muslim. for example havin tatoo eventhou its wrong. other muslim also have their own sins but they dun act like the sporen do. its make me wonder..

It is probably because Singapore is NOT an Islamic state. It is a secular state. And the Muslims here enjoy the freedoms that come with a secular-democratic state like Singapore, and in various parts of Malaysia too. But if Singapore becomes an Islamic State like Sudan or Saudi Arabia things would be a lot more different!

Singaporean are more open minded, the culture and society around makes them do the things that against the religion although its wrong. Hope their faith to islam still remains.
Any muslim can do tatoo to look cool, but at that time they dont care the consequenses they might feel later at older age. So, why bother what they do with their life, as long as we have faith in our own believes.

Actually what u are saying its true and u are seeing it every where. firstly u cant fault religion. its the way of parents upbringing of their kids. if this parents instill strong religion belief in their kids maybe these kids knows what is wrong and what is right. this kids may not have proper religious teachings or they never even received them. therefore we cant blame them for acing this way because its not their fault that they dont know its because that they were never taught to know.

you are confused....being a malay does not mean you are a muslim...you see malays drinking beer..tonnes of tatooes on their body..but they may not be a muslim.....you never know..just like there are chinese muslims and chinese christians its the same thing..in other countries maybe the percentage of muslims are higher as they are bigger...remember we r the tiny red dot

thats happen when their faith in Islam is poor and they thought western culture is better than any culture..
well, other words.. their parents dont teach them to be a good muslims.
