take him outside -his doggy instincts will tell him to eat grass which will give him the grit he needs to throw up. lots of animals do this-very natural. what he wants to throw up is probably mostly liquid and he's having trouble getting it up and out. you definately want to encourage him to vomit-he's body knows what it needs.I'm pretty certain he'll be fine tommorrow.

I agree with 7yrs2go, he is trying to throw up. If you don't want to go to the vet yet, let your dog roam around in a garden for quite a bit. Let him eat some grass (on it's own, don't force him to). It would help his digestion, or induce vomitting.
If he does vomit, don't worry; he might have eaten something that disagrees with his stomach. In this case, vomitting is a good thing.

He's trying to throw up. If he continues get him to a vet or at least call a vet and see if it could be an emergency.

Poor baby. Was he too hungry and he gulped his food down? Offer some water. it might settle down after a while. If it wont, maybe he is too hungry and he ate somethig like tissue or something on the floor and now it is bothering him. See what he does with a little food.

mine does the same thing. he is about 12 - 13 years old and was diagnosed with a heart valve problem along with something like emphasema ( dont think i spelled that right) if he has been doing this for awhile you need to take him to the vet. and please don't think that i have just diagnosed him because it could be something totally different. good luck

Any number of things might be upsetting his stomach. Get him to a vet as soon as you can.
