Therefore I don't feel the pressure of having to pretend I'm someone that I'm not. And that he won't ask me out again, when I wasn't comfortable the first time agreeing to seeing him.

No girl, it's not wrong! It's perfectly fine! Being honest about how you feel and think is the best thing you could do for yourself as well as for that person! It would save both of you a lot of unneccessary meetings and efforts! It's never healthy to pretend...it only puts you in bondage! Keep it real for it'll liberate your soul!

Isn't this a wonderful way to learn about lifes pressures. My dad used to have a saying "When in doubt, Don't". I have found that over the years I have not regreted using it, I think that little voice should be listened to. But I did have to sort out weather it was doubt, or fear of the unknown, The two are seperate and learning which is which is another of those lessons. But good on for you for listening to your self. Well done

Listen to your gut. If you don't want to spend time with him don't. Being nice to people you don't feel comfortable with will just get you hurt. The next time you talk to him, just tell him you didn't feel any warm and fuzzies (or sparks) , say sorry if you need to, but don't agree to go out with him again.

No, but in the future don't give a guy false hope. If you are not interested just say so. Ya he may think you are a bitc* but its better then you leading him on and then hurting him..making you a cun*. It's difficult but it's the lesser of 2 evil's

its not wrong it happens all the time, you pretend to be someone your not and then the person is actually interested in you and then you think...do they like the pretend you..or the real you? So you would rather them like you for who your pretended to be rather than them finding out what you're really like...make sense! hehe

i would defintely be glad that he didn't call back if i wasn't feeling the connection or whatever the first time we went out. yea that's definietly normal and you should'nt feel mean or whatever.

Of course not. I wish my ex boyfriend died when he tried to commit suicide (he failed) but does that make me a bad person? Yes to people who don't know the situation but no to the people who do.

No, it's perfectly normal. If you were uncomfortable with this guy, you shouldn't see him again. It's good to rely on your intuition.

It isn't wrong at all, if you're pretending to be something you're not, then he probably isn't someone you can be open to.
