The X was for their belief that Manson was the Christ reborn. The girls believed they were doing gods work. You know the story so why should I say more about that. They thought that what they did helped the people go to Heaven that they killed.

How do I know? Well when I was 13, and they would panhandle out side of my school. This was before and during the trial.

He was neither. Mansom believed a race war was coming where the blacks would kill and take over the white world. Manson beleived the blacks would be unable to rule and would look towards him for guidance. When the war did not start as he forecasted he thought he'd help. The Tate - Labianca murders were done to look like blacks committed the crimes (or so Manson thought) so that the war would begin. It didn't.

He was neither. He was a typical hippie stoner. He lived in a commune that he was the leader of. He wrote several songs and even had ties to the beach boys. He took to much drugs, got on a power trip and decided to start a race war. He thought the Beatles were the four angels of the Apocalypse. Try reading a book on the guy. There has been two mini-series done on him. or look into his victims.

Is there a difference? The Jews are God's chosen people, and Satan hates anybody who belongs to God. So wouldn't a Satanist also hate Jews?
