True? Untrue? What do you think?
I think it's quite accurate, myself. No one knows the whole truth about why we're here or what made us, but everyone thinks they have the right answer.
Just curious what other's views are. :) Please state reasons for your views.

Don, you don't think this can be applied to people who arn't Christians? Why? What about the pit of the mirror held by a Hindu, or a Wiccian?

it relates to faith because it too is written by a human (like the bible) and not written by or inspired by a god.

One way of looking at it.
Each of us has a soul which is a facet of the creator made from its own body before the creation of the physical universe. So all things are connected through the Creator.
But we seem to develop a type of amnesia when we are born into this world. And therefore think we are separate from all others.

I prefer to see all the pieces of reality miraculously rising up and like a diamond coming back together in a perfect fit, including your little piece of life. We are part of life, but the amazing thing is that when we are collected together we transform into a perfect diamond and are again a wholeness which we experience like a family reunion including "All Our Relations".

I believe that the "myriad bits" of truth can be found more or less in some other religions. But I believe that the fullness of truth is in the Catholic Church.

I think i would have to agree. Our own truths belong to no one but ourselves, and since we all have our own perceptions of reality, perhaps there is no one, true, solid truth from which to confirm our truth......huh?
i don't know but the words are eloquent and well put together.
the use of the word mirror (something we perceive ourselves with) is smart and the fact that it is smashed....it accurate because our perceptions of who we think we are, are constantly challenged.

Yes, this is all about faith. I think it is true. I think so many people and religions all have pieces of truth. I do think God would give us the gift of truth in the form of one religion. Why wouldn't he? With that said, I do think I belong to the true church.

True. We can see as much because of how people treat their beliefs as well as others. How many fundamentalist type questions have we already seen on Y!A?
