Sure. Call the warrants division of the jurisdiction that may hold or be in charge of serving the warrant. Most misdemeanor warrants are considered "public record" and fall under the "Freedom of Information Act" (FOIA). A simple visit or phone call could be all that is required to learn if a warrant exists. I hope this helps.

there are 2 free ways:

1 go to the police dept and get arrested if you have a warrant

2 call a bondsman. they will check for free. if they tell you that they charge for the service, either call a different bondsman or the fee will be very small. warrants can only be checked from 8am to 5pm, mon-fri.

read the answer i gave to your previous question "how do i check to see if i have a warrant?"

btw....a bond will run you around 15% of the total bond amount. example: 1500 bond (usual amount in my area for minor misdemeanors) is $240. 3500 bond will be $415.

good luck guy and don't break any laws in the future, it is expensive to get out of trouble

most places charge.

I don't think you can just go ask your police department, cause then I think that dwells into privacy issues of the subject.

They have to have a reason to look at someone i think.

You most likely will be looking into "background checks", and those cost so far as I have seen.
