Cecilia, love is not based on long time engagement, there are some people that they just met 6 months ago but they are happy together.

I am in your situation before, I have a boyfriend of 6 years. I thought I really love him, though sometimes I admire some guys that are really nice and really like me, but I keep ignoring them, because of the fact that I have a boyfriend already. He is not a romantic guy, he is very quiet, boring, jealous etc. But I dont know why I stay with him for so long. Several times I tried to break up with him, but I always come back because I thought I do love him. I just told myself maybe I just need to move far away from him just to end up the relationship. And then the opportunity came to me to work abroad, I met a wonderful guy, I thought I will never forget until my husband came along....Now, we are very much happy. Ive never feel this way before..

Beware of a relationship in which there is no laughter. Even the most intimate relationships based only on seriousness have a tendency to turn sour . If your laughter together is good and healthy, and not at the expense of others, then you have a healthy relationship to the world. If you can make each other laugh, you can always surprise each other. And if you can always surprise each other, you can always keep the world around you new.

look for a partner who deals with the world in a way you respect. When two people first get together, they tend to see their relationship as existing only in the space between the two of them.

This is a two part questions and should be mutually independent if you are ethnical.

1) Regardless you meet this guy or not, look deeper into the relationship between your BF and you. Are you sure he is the person. Put aside the past 7 years, look forward to the next decades or a year or so. Do you actually see future based on how you are ? If not, break it up. Or give it a serious thought about where you should go and how to get there.

2) With 1 resolved, then you look closer to the second guy and re-evaluate him.

This should be solved sequentially with #1 first resolved.

Just check if your love towards your BF is fading? I feel love and lust are different things.....what do you have for your BF - love? But you and your BF are not in love to the extent where nothing in the world seems to matter.... May be its time to take a break and look at whats wrong with your love for your BF... Or just freak out!!

It really comes down to this- Who was there when you had a bad day? Who cuddled with you when you cried about something? Who understood you when it seemed like neither your best friend or parent did? I just hope you understand who was there for you when you had nothing, and who was there for you at the moment of truth. Everything else is up to you, its only your decision to make.

THE DECISION YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE, BUT AFTER 7 YEARS WITH THIS GUY TO JUST GIVE UP THAT EASY SOUND
LIKE THERE WAS MUCH THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
AND IF YOU ARE ALLREADY THINKING ABOUT MOVING ON'
THEN HE DESERVE YOUR HONEST IF NOTHING ELSE.
