There is a train, leaving Roma Termini at 18.40 and arriving at Paris Bercy at 9.10 that doesn't go through Switzerland, so it should only count as 2 countries.

I advise Rome, as there is plenty greater to work out (the classic Rome) and the truthfully everyone seems to be plenty nicer, than the folk in Paris. In Paris the folk may well be truly unfriendly. After the single and in basic terms time I visited Paris, i desperate "in no way lower back Paris for me" because of the fact the folk have been very conceited and unfriendly, each and every from time to time even advise!
