Four U.S. soldiers charged of raping and killing a 14-year-old girl and her family including parents & sister. One of the soldiers, 23-year-old Army Spec. James P. Barker, told an Army criminal investigator that after the killings he poured kerosene on the girl's bullet-ridden body, according to testimony in August at a military hearing. The girl's father, mother and five-year-old sister were also killed, according to military officials. CNN Reports www.cnn.com

My Questions is that it is not the Human Right Violation? Can these britual acts will bring dmocracy in Iraq & love for the Americans ?

These army perosnnel should be hanged as these are destroying whole image of Americans.

These acts are crimes and you may notice that they are being charged with the crime because the US Military does not tolerate such acts.

I agree with you that they should be hanged, I personally think they should be publicly executed in Iraq if found guilty.

But under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (the set of laws those still in the military will be charged with) they will more likely get a long prison sentence (possibly with hard labor, we still have that), or lethal injection if they are sentenced to death.

War creates bad things to happen. These men most likely would have gone down this road eventually anyway and will be dealt with as such. Even bad people can get into the military but no one in their right minds will condemn the whole because of a few.

Yes it is a human rights violaton, it is also a war crime. As for some of the respondees saying it is "old news", it is not old news to the Iraqis I speak to (this happened in our area SW of Baghdad). Nor was it old news for Tucker and Menchaca, whose "trial" and murder was retaliation for this act. We are still feeling the efects of their actions, even months later. I agree that Barker, Green, Cortez and the others should receive the death penalty.

There is no excuse for this kind of behavior! Our military men and women are very stressed out and miss home. A lot of them need to be counselled when they come back from war....I think sometimes a handful of our military get angry and take it out on anyone who is nearby,in most cases it is an innocent family....They should be punished for their crime, not for destroying Americas image!

Some Americans are violative of laws and should be dealt with accordingly. The image of USA is being blemished by just a few bad men.
