well i was thinking of stuffing a rag in her tailpipe because i heard it would make the car not start...then someone told me it could make her car blow up or something? now i'm not too sure, wanted to know if anybody else knows if this would work, if its dangerous, and whats the best way to make it work? thanks for your help =)

seems like a nono.
i think it just causes the carbonmonoxide to enter into the vehicle through the air vents?
if her windows are down, then no problem I guess (dont know though).
don't know about the wont start or explosions.
I'd be safe and just not do it.

Without exhaust the car will not start/move and it won't blew up the car, Orange also can do the trick instead of rag - keep a distance there after from mom she will hit u for sure

That's retarded! You shouldn't do it, cause you have no clue as to what will happen. Come one now, you can think of a better prank than that, you know, maybe one that isn't somewhat homocidal. It could really mess your mom's car up and potentially harm her. It won't be worth it either way.

anybody ever watch intelligent shows like mythbusters? they proved that any organic compound, like a potato or an orange, or a rag for that matter, will just create back pressure and eventually shoot out. just like the fat kid in the original willy wonka
