i have a friend who not only has an std ... but shes dating a man who is clean .hes a good guy and i feel i should warn him ,but i dont want my friend mad at me because she feels theres nothing wrong with it. and that he should be the one to say to use a condom ,if he was worried . where i say that you should tell him and let him decide if he still wants to be there .help soon they hook up on friday.

You know very well you have to warn him. She sounds like a very self centered person to risk this guy, or anyone, getting sick. As you already know about this how do you feel being an accessory to this irresponsible behavior? Wouldn't you want to be warned? Some friend she is! With friends like her you don't need any enemies. This is not only a question of doing what is morally right but of the consequences of other people getting hurt by her deplorable cavalier attitude. Her being mad at you is nothing compared to how you will feel for the rest of your life if you let this slide. This guy needs to be told pronto! There are no other options.

Yes tell him. She should have told him, but since she hasn't and YOU KNOW, it is now your responsibility to tell him. If he doesn't know, and he ends up with something, you are just as guilty as your friend for not telling him. You are not her doctor, lawyer, or priest, so there is no legal defense to save you if you let this happen.
