I am going to visit a muslim family next monday on the Id-Al-Fitr, the celebration at the end of the ramadan. Is there anything specific I could (or should) bring as a present?

thanks for your answers. Here (Holland)integraton of cultures is a big issue. I will combine fruits and (typical Dutch) sweets in a basket, showing that Muslim and non-mulsim can go together. Peace to you all!

Fruit is always a good buy for Muslim friends for gifts. There are ingredients in some foods that are forbidden for Muslims to eat. Instead of you having to go through each ingredient to determine if it's ok for a Muslim family to have you can just buy a fruit basket and they will appreciate it!

Baklava "Ba'lawa" is also a nice dessert to prepare...
