I'm going to college by day and work at night. The hours are REALLY wired, I work 8pm to 4:30 am and back to school at around 9am. I need a sleeping pill that will help me sleep when I need to. As you can see, I don't have a lot of time to waste waiting to sleep. I need all the time I have free to sleep.

I am also taking Adderall for my ADHD so sleeping can be hard at times. Do you know any sleeping pills that works well for you, the kind that don't leave you feeling tired?

I have been taking trazadone. It's cheap (which is always good) and for me, it works quickly and though I might wake up a touch groggy, I can quickly recover that with a cup of coffee and doesn't leave me groggy all day. And I have very odd hours of sleep also. I usually get a GOOD SOLID 6 hours and I am good to go all day. My son is on it also and has ADHD and takes focalin xr...he has had a terrible time sleeping and we have tried many many things, this seems to be working for him, however he is very hard to wake up, but has always been that. I have just unfortunately found that it has an interaction with another med I am taking so I am not sure now, which scares me, because it works so well.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

Ambien works well for me. My doctor said pilots use it because it leaves your system in 8hrs and doesn't leave you groggy. I wake up fine with it, no grogginess or sleepiness.
