Atheist here, and it's as simple as this.

"When I do good I feel good and when I do bad I feel bad, and that is my religion." Abraham Lincoln

The whole "sin" bit was made up to try and control people.

what is sin? "sin" is transgressing religious dogma, breaking a rule created by a religious ruling class.

where does it come from? it comes a religious ruling class that enforces guilt and fear as manipulation tools to keep the milling masses subjugated and under control.

how to get rid of it? don't believe in it.

how to clean a soul from sin? well, that's rather personal as someone has to believe there is such a thing as a soul and that a soul can be made dirty so as to be in need of cleaning. my personal concept is that "soul" is pure and immutable energy that is can not be dirtied or defiled.

what is my god's "apptitude"? i think you might mean "attitude" towards a sinner. right? i don't have a deity. and my "God" concept is so huge that silly human foibles have no affect on It whatsoever.

proof? you want proof of my "God" concept? hehehehe! all i can do is point at myself, at you and at every existing thing and say ..
"there It is being whatever It IS." grok?

PS. humans can be kind and good without threats of eternal punishment hanging over their heads their entire lives. be good because it's good to be good.

Haven't figured out what qualifies as a sin yet. Religion has failed to make that clear for me.
I don't think sin is a thing that comes from somewhere and inhabits the human soul. If you believe you are a sinner, then you need to choose to change your ways. If others believe you are a sinner but you don't, then you are not.
I don't believe in a judgmental god, so sin is not an issue with me or with it.

Okay, this is like asking what a 'check-mate' is in a poker game. A sin is nothing of relevance in my daily life. Think about anything you don't care at all. Well, that's sin for me. I don't need to be 'cleaned', because no religion has ever made me feel dirty. I'm a law-abiding citizen, who hasn't committed any crimes or serious offenses. At most, I may have kept 10 extra cents with the change, without telling. I'm not proud about that, but I know I'm not going to condition my whole life to a feeling of guilt for my natural human imperfections.

Of course, I'm not a religious person. So, I cannot provide proof. It's Christians who need to provide proof that it's necessary to care about the concept of sin. Otherwise, the natural attitude 'by default', is not to be concerned about that. And please, no 'proof' from the bible. That is just a book without a universal value. You need to bring something we all can take seriously.

Dear Friend,

Breaking of divine or moral law, esp. deliberately is a sin. Such an act, or offence against good taste or propriety etc, is also called as sin.

But, why do you want to believe in all this stuff.

Be a decent person, do not harm others, respect all fellow human beings. Do not tell lies for gains & steal others properties. Spare the nature. Stop all corrupt practices. Try all this, & you yourself will be someone like God. So, nobody can touch you.

Good luck God.

Why this question is for non-Christians? I am a Christian and here is my answer: Sin is a term used mainly in a religious context to describe an act that violates a moral code of conduct or the state of having committed such a violation. In monotheistic religions, the code of conduct is determined by God. Colloquially, any thought, word, or act considered immoral, shameful, harmful, or alienative might be termed "sinful".

Jewish by religion, with Kabbalah-based spirituality.

>>"What is sin ?"<<

imperfection. or rather, its mistakes and wrongdoings, due to imperfection.

>>"Where it comes from?"

Incompleteness. God "cannot" sin, because there is no limit, or flaw in his knowlege or awareness. no flaw in "his" motivation or intent. thus with absolute awareness, and perfect intent... mistakes simply can't happen, by definition.

>>"How to get rid of it or in what way we can clean the soul from sin?"<<

apologize, and do better. learning from mistakes.

>>"What is your God's apptitude towards a sinner?"<<

attitude I take it you mean. what is the attitude of a loving parent to their child, who makes mistakes, and does wrong? still loving, still forgiving, no matter how bad the wrongdoing is, the parent still loves, and forgives. and wants the child to learn and do better.

Proof? what would be proof?

I do not know the purpose of your question,
It might be for luring people to think positive towards your religion,
or you might be in search of more knowledge about other religions.
However
I would like to say that the sin is a thinking of any act to be right or wrong in the eyes of a particular person. For example if a hungry man steals a piece of loaf he will be called a thief. But it was his necessity, and hungry people will not consider it to be a sin but the affluent may consider it to be an act of sin.
My religion says that you should not harm anybody and let everybody live his life according to his beliefs.but many a religions think that maximum people should come/convert themselves to their religion, even they are ready to pay for that.
I think such people are the contractors/looters who say only they can take a person to the GOD,whereas it should be that there are various ways to reach to the top of the mountain (GOD),whichever way you go.
Thus one should respect each and every religion, and thus respect the feelings of others(A part of GOD is available in everybody).

There is no sin. It's a Christian concept. Basically, it's anything that goes against Christian morals.

Why would I need to cleanse my soul of my sins? The Threefold Law will force me to pay for my sins during my lifetime. It's the nature of things.

My gods do not care. The gods set the Law of Three in motion and they no longer have a hand in it.

Sin is not real, what people call "sin" is only the bad or tasteless things people do, and they pay for it later emotionally, socially, financially, or by the law. It only comes from the person who does the wrong thing and the only way to resolve it is to own up to what you did like a responsible adult and pay the price. I have no gods, only a set of good values and morals.
