I MET THIS GUY ONLINE LIKE A YEAR AGO. WE TALKED ON A REGULAR BASIS FOR A WHILE, ONLINE. JUST RECENTLY I STARTED TO TALK TO HIM ON THE PHONE. I REALLY LIKE HIM AND HE IS A GENUINE GUY. I MAY HAVE MADE UP A FEW LIES ABOUT MYSELF AT THE BEGINNING BECAUSE I NEVER REALLY THOUGHT HE WOULD BE SOMEONE I COULD SEE MYSELF MEETING. NOW I WANT TO MEET HIM. I JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO TELL HIM I LIED IN THE VERY BEGINNING ABOUT A FEW THINGS. IM AFRAID HE WILL BE UPSET AND NOT WANNA TALK ANYMORE. I SHOWED HIM A FAKE PICTURE AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO TELL HIM. IM NOT AFRAID I WONT BE WHAT HE WANTS BUT IM AFRAID OF HIS REACTION. PLEASE TELL ME IF I SHOULD JUST GIVE UP OR BE HONEST. I FEEL SO BAD. I DIDNT THINK AT FIRST IT WOULD EVER BE LIKE THIS, I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST CHATTING ONLINE! NOW I HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM...PLEASE HELP ME! THANKYOU

If he is also interested in you and you are getting to the point of nearly wanting to meet then you had better come clean with him. Just be honest and tell him you never thought it would get this serious and you were just protecting yourself. If he is sincere,he will understand. The net can be dangerous. Good luck.

At least you're admitting the truth now, and that's a big step. Show him this very question and answer thing. The way you worded it, sounds like you care enough to want to come clean. If you didn't care, you wouldn't even worry. It should show him you have genuine feelings. By the way, how different do you look than the photo? If it's a big difference, it could be trouble. you are in an iffy sitituation. If you are planning on meeting him in person you are going to have to tell him the truth. It is going to be hard but your gonna have to do it. But remember to be careful when meeting people from online..there are some real psychos out there these days.

just tell him straight up that u lied. if it was over the internet then he never wouldve really seen you and if he likes u then its bc of your personality and not your looks, so it shouldnt matter to him

just be honest with him...and explain why you what you did in the beginning....being honest is the best thing you can ever do
