Diet Coke has Equal in it.
I have listed a few sites below. My experience: I am fat. So I drink diet to reduce sugar. Pink ones killed lab animal, yellow ones are too expensive so I went with the blue. My finger was killing me. I thought it was broke. Then I heard that there was an association between Aspartame and aggravation of osteoarthritis. I gave it up for a week just to see. Pain's gone. As I used Nutra Sweet from time to time I noticed the pain would come on those days. I no longer use it and pain has stayed away, for good.

My dad used to do the exact same thing and he started getting a sore stomach til the point where he could not eat.
He went to the doctor and the doctor said it was a ulcer that could be caused by the preservatives in the Diet Coke. He had to fast until the ulcer went away.
Now whenever he drinks a lot of drinks that have preservatives etc in them he gets stomach ulcers.
I'd recommend stopping immediatly.
:)

Wow, where to start? The phosphoric acid will rot your teeth and weaken your bones. Also, the phenylalanine (artificial sweetener) is probably not doing your nervous system any favors. To process all that stuff, you'd need to drink a couple of gallons of water, since the cokes have no hydrating properties (they are diuretic; taking water from your body instead). If you aren't drinking enough water, you'll get headaches and other symptoms of dehydration. Oh, and there's caffeine...
Solution? Cut back to one diet coke a day, and drink at least a full glass of water at each meal.

Yea because it still ups your triglicerides. Look at the calories, too. Sometimes, the "diet" isn't really a "diet" at all.
For instance, Red Bull: 110 Cal.
Sugar Free Red Bull: 10 cal. and all of the b vitamins of regular.

Actually if you look on a bottle of diet coke it has zero calories. It can cause problems with your kidneys.

It's still calories and sugar...more than if you drank water. Plus carbination has a negative effect on calcium absorption in your bones...so in that case yes, it will definitely have a negative effect on your health.
