make sure the bride is happy all day. get her drinks...help her lift her dress and pee...dance the entire time....and SMILE. You will also have to make sure her dress, hair and make up are in place all day long.

Tend to the bride. Show up on time for everything. Help the bride get ready. Get your picture taken. Smile. Dance when they tell you to (usually you join the bride and groom during the last minute or so of first dance). Help the bride go to the bathroom. Learn how to bustle her dress so you can help with that. Make sure that no problems get brought to her attention. Instead, you and the other bridesmaids should deal with any problems that arise, short of paying the caterer (in which case check with the best man first). Do not tell the bride anything negative. Dance. Stay presentable. Tell the bride she is the most beautiful bride you have ever seen. Have fun!

Along with the customary duties of tending to the bride's every need...you should always be on the lookout for any potential problems and get her and his family dancing. Y ou may also be needed to help transport things and if bride and groom are leaving for honeymoon straight from the reception then you may offer to help with the transport and storage of wedding gifts. Just whatever you can do to make the day happy and flawless as possible for the bride. You also may give a speech at the reception if you like.

in the process the marriage there are multiple little themes that arise, this person has no water, or that one needs to appreciate the place the showering room is or notwithstanding. it rather is amazingly unlucky for the bride and groom to be pestered on their wedding ceremony day with those trivial themes. The hall might have a matre dee yet they're attempting to fulfill the bride and groom for a sturdy tip no longer the travellers. So, in case you and the different bridesmates can help with those small themes that would extremely help out the married couple. in the previous the marriage you are able to desire to make advantageous your gown suits properly and looks sturdy, throw a bathtub, manage a bachelorette occasion (tasteful) and supply sturdy advice and convenience to the bride. each and every now and then people who get married (the two adult males and ladies) get frantic and apprehensive and want emotional help.

I assume you are just a bridesmaid and not the maid of honor?
All you have to do is make sure you buy a nice gift for the bride and groom and show up in your dress looking nice.
Do what they tell you to do (where to sit, when to walk down the aisle, etc).

As her friend (and me speaking as a coordinator/consultant) remind everyone to smile all day long no matter what they overhear. pictures will be taken all day and photographers are expensive. remind everyone to smile down the aisle and all the while they are dressed

speaking as a regular person-everyone else has hit the mark offer he support, do whatever she wants or needs no matter how odd it is and make sure no one else does anything to upset her. the maid or matron of honor will also hopefully be doing this but you can never have too many people in your corner

Dear, if you don't know by now, then there is no hope for you! Actually, you don't do too much. Just ask another bridesmaid. Bridesmaids are there as window decoration for the most part.

well, first of all, you gotta make sure that you are in a good mood, and then make sure that the bride is in a good mood. it looks like it will be a tiring evening, but, it might also be a really great one if everyone is in a good mood.

Get the bride to smile and have fun.
You have to smile and have fun.
Everybody has to smile and have fun.
Weddings should be about having fun!
Good Luck.
And I hope you don't have to wear tartan taffeta!
