Women and men in the business world are usually viewed as one of two stereotypes:
1.) Women are detail oriented, ruthless when it comes to gettings things down right and better organized.
2.) Woman are slow learners, always questioning, too weak to push when a push is needed, and technophobs (fear technology)
3.) Men are ruthless when it comes to getting things done fast, good at multitasking and good problem solvers
4.) Men are quick to make a bad desicion, are obsessed with speed and don't know when to back down from a "fight"

When a man says he wants a female boss it is because he is in a situation where he feels the need for organization, attention to detail and cool tempers. However, once the rough part is over he goes back to wanting things done fast and to show off.

The business world, after all, is just the most recent incarnation of the primitive hunting party, where warriors impress their rivals and potential "mates" by the number of "kills" they make. Because women are so detail oriented they are also seen as nit-pickers and the squeaky wheel that slows them down and decreases their "kill" ratio. Like wise, the business world to a woman is like the primative community circle where "goods" are exchanged for the betterment of all. Because men have to haggle angrily and go fast, they get cheap "goods" and useless products that will ultimately cause more trouble than fix problems.

I work at a bank and have the reputaion of a "nit-picker" because I report and document every problem I encounter. My bosses, both men, encourage me to do this but in the traditional male stereotype tell everyone else to ignore my findings. Only recently after a major system failure and revamp did they realize listening to me would have saved them a LOT of headaches.

At least people with stock in Aleve and Advil will be getting something out of this mess. ;)

No one sex was built to rule or be ruled; sometimes in our lives we’d like to have more power and be the dominant one while at other times we’d like to be submissive and kick back and relax and be bossed about…it all depends on what we fancy at the moment. Also after u’ve been bossed about for a while it became boring and u want to change ur life again so u take control but after a while that too became boring so u relinquish control again…it’s human nature we constantly strive for difference, for change and for refreshing new take on issues.

It's their ego. If a woman actually being bossy at first, they will be challenged to "tame" the woman. In other word, men are intriqued by bossy women. But if they have successfully "tame" the women, they want to have their control back over woman. It's just their thing, that they have to control women at the end.

They are looking for a mother figure. Some men really do like it, it turns them on. Some men just need guidence like for instance if the didnt grow up with having a mom etc. Men can be strange. But ya gotta love em...

It's the thing that that they want a mother figure, then it backfires and then they want to hold the whip right? I feel ya hun, just try and talk about it, or if that doesnt work, tell him that it really bothers you and it needs to stop. If your willing maybe make a game out of it, be the boss to him and back and forth, maybe you'll like it. ♥

It's a submissive/dominant game they play. They each take the control for a little while. Makes life more interesting than the way things usually are. We all could spice up our life a little.
