Is it a sign or is it just dumb luck?

Me and my ex dated for a year. It ended badly and we didn't talk for 3 weeks. then the other day i asked her if we could talk and she said no. She said we are done for real this time. That was the end of the conversation. The next day my brother and my friend invited me to the state fair. I went. Right when we were about to leave, I saw my ex with her family and her ex before me. i did nothing about it. now i live in phoenix. there are millions of people. i didnt know that she would be there. and the fair is big. you could be there for hours and not run into 1/50th of the people who are there. the odds of me seeing her the next day or crossing paths has to be one in a zillion. what does this mean?

Its just dumb luck.... a lot of people read too much into certain situations. Things like this happen every day to someone, somewhere around the world.

It means that you have your ex on the brain and you need to find someone else in your life to help heal the hurt and fill the void. Seeing her there with another ex, was a sign that you need to put closure on this honey, not stir it all up again.

I know it doesn't seem that way, but you are looking for signs that there is still hope. I"m sorry to say, there isn't. SHe was with someone else sweetie and that was your sign. She has moved on and it's time you did the same.

It was just a coincidence. At least you know that she is with her ex. Breaking up is hard but eventually you will get over it. Move on. I know this is cliche, but there truly are plenty of fish in the sea (at least for now).

I do think it was meant to be. You needed to see that she was with someone else. Sometimes, as painful as it is, that's what we need to move on.
