Judy, First, prepare to contact the authorities, starting locally, they will make the decision to contact the State Agegencies or FBI if it turns out to be an Internet Issue. Prepare to give as much information that you know about this person. Are you getting the information 3rd party or from a victim? Do you know the offender and how well if you do? Examples: e-mail, neighbor, friend, or a complete stranger etc....... How much information can you provide? Examples: Address, description, Internet provider, how many children are in the household, how many adults, what kind of traffic comes in and out of the residence, where suspect works, vehicle tag numbers, known associates, residence description, etc..............
Be able to describe in detail how you received the information, and it would be helpful to write a statement detailing the events that led up to the discovery. Times, Dates, location, etc.............
WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE Judy there is never too much information when a child is a victim.
Judy, also, do not put yourself at risk in attempting to gather this information..........and if you cant get some of this information without it being obvious......don't attempt it . Give all that you can to Law Enforcement authorities.

There are two simple solutions.
Foremost, call your local law enforcement, and tell them about the reported child pornographer. They will listen and do what is within their powers to stop the action. They might even call upon the federal government to handle the case.
Secondly, you could call your local chapter of the FBI. The FBI has offices set up all around the U.S. Simply place a call into them and tell them you would like to report a child pornographer.

Either solution will lead to stopping this person.

call the police and tell them.
If you have to remain ananomoyous call crime stoppers or the police, but you willl have to stay in contact with them so yu can give them information. They proboly will not be able to do anything with anonomous information anyways because of the fact they have " no real person" to swear on the information to get a search warrant.
anonomous tips are not good in this case, because the evidnece in in teh computer and they have to have someone to swear on teh information given in order to get a search warrant.
If you can't anything to work out for you and you have some more information, email me and i will see if i can turn them in for you if you have to remain anonomoyous. I have done this before.

Call the police or sheriff's dept. in your area immediately!! What if it was your child's picture out there for everyone to see???? I do not think that the person doing this would be told who turned them in. CALL NOW!
